NEW MEXICO INDEPENDENT LABEL SOUTHWEST
ENTERTAINMENT INKS DIGITAL DISTRIBUTION DEAL WITH
AVATAR RECORDS.
New singles on iTunes scheduled for June 2008!
Los Angeles, CA–Independent rap label Southwest Entertainment has
completed negotiations with California-based Avatar Records and has
landed a lucrative digital music distribution deal. The deal will enable
the expansion of Southwest Entertainment into the national and digital
arena with exclusive placement in Apple’s online retail music store
iTunes.
Southwest Entertainment is an Independent rap label based in Clovis,
New Mexico. Founded by Jason Kidd aka J.KIDD. Southwest
Entertainment has strived to put a traditional "fly-by" state in the rap
game. Southwest Entertainment makes every effort to place New
Mexico on the map and will stop at nothing to do so. Armed with a
style that is impossible to categorize, and a stable of MCs as diverse as
any, Southwest Entertainment is poised for a musical breakthrough not
only regionally but nationally as well. Look for several full-length
albums by 2009 and a steady diet of mix tapes, collaborations and live
performances all over New Mexico, Colorado, Texas, Arizona and
Nevada.
